Bedding Refresh with Annie Selke…

Annie Selke Neutral Bedroom Bedding - Sunshine & Stilettos Blog (Instagram: @katlynmaupin)

When Dylan and I moved in together, we went back in forth like crazy on home decor…I know…WHAT?! I would’ve never guessed he would have cared so much, but somehow his opinions were trumping mine! Haha! Boy stands his ground, lemme tell ya! He is a neutral guy through and through. I asked to do a royal blue accent color, and that was even a hard “NO”! I mean, blue is not even a girly color…are you as confused as I am?! Anyways, one of the only bedding options we were both okay with was white bedding with gray accents. It wouldn’t be my top choice, but I was learning very quickly that marriage wasn’t all about what I wanted! Ugh…lol!

I love this white bedding from Annie Selke. It’s such high quality and has been really easy to maintain so far. I love the simple border detailing on it too! My favorite part about white bedding is that you can change up the look really easy just by adding new accent pillows with different colors, prints and textures! I joked the other day that whenever we move, I’m done caving on the color palette and we are at least going to have colorful throw pillows. He surprisingly gave me a “whatever makes you happy, baby” response…I’m not sure if he was joking, but I’m just going to pretend he wasn’t and hold him to it!

Does anyone else get an itch to rearrange and redecorate your home every few months?! I think looking at home decor constantly is what gets to me! Annie Selke has a great home catalog! They have a variety of organic, yet glamorous pieces that add the perfect unique touch to your home. The whole thing is swoon worthy! You can see the online catalog here, or request a print catalog here!

Home Office Reveal…

Prada Canvas - Sunshine & Stilettos Blog (Instagram: @katlynmaupin)

I’m so excited to finally share my home office space! (Phew, this post took way longer to link than expected…I need a glass of wine!) It’s definitely my little sanctuary, and I love being able to work in a room that inspires me! Dylan & I are still in an apartment, so I didn’t want to go through the hassle of painting when I know we will be moving in 9 months or so! I wish the walls could be a pale gray color, but that will have to wait until we move again! I think I linked everything at the bottom of this post, but feel free to ask if I missed anything! 🙂 Continue Reading
